What is the new hoja like. It's been a long time since I've been in it and was wondering how different it is, and at the same time how similar. Can anyone tell me. Oh and if you want to talk to me, then you can email me at boombaby_jt@hotmail.com or add that address to your msn account and we can talk that way. Hope to hear from some of you soon. Take care peoples!

Hey Jeremy Since nobody has replied to this yet, I thought Id take the liberty of posting and saying that there hasn't yet been and I doubt there ever will be a better line up than you, Curt, Nolan and Dave. I saw you guys like five times with that line up. I saw you guys at the ex on my birthday and I watched all of your shows *thumbs up* Im a huge fan of you guys, have been since the first time I saw you perform...always will be. So howz life treating you? Hope things are going well ttylz! Always and forever, xx Cami AkA... HojaStalking (its true...ask and I will tell)Hunnie

Well, the new HOJA... I've been hearing about them from BC a lot more... (although.. I've been looking a lot more too...) What's different and what's the same? The line up (obviously), The sound is a lot different too. When you were in it, the some of the songs seemed a little.. erm.. how should I put this... "harder" now they're a bit "softer"... Most of the dances are the same (why change something that was good?) And the jokes are pretty much the same (Like the ones for Friends in Low Places) and that crazy hat.... But otherwise.. most is still the same.... Trent's crazy.... Steve's crazy... and a little annoying... but they're great! and Pete's sorta intelligent.. and Danny's intellectual.... (sorta...)

Will let you know next week how this *new* HOJA compares to you, Curt,Nolan and Garnett... love watching and listening to you for a whole week at the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair so will see if I love this group as well. Hope all is well with you and your plans fell into place. Ele

That's great! I'd love to see these pics so I can see how the guys are doing. I'm really missing the guys right now and I wish I could talk to them or watch them on stage... ~sighs~ This is worse than depressing, this is down right sad....

Hi Jeremy, Here are my impressions of the 'new' HOJA. The format and songs have changed considerably since you performed for HOJA. Some of them are the same but with different emphasis on some aspects. The Lion Sleeps Tonight didn't have the marvelous 'monkey' impression but Steve's performance with the backup was extremely memorable. They didn't perform (at least at the shows I saw)Wannabe but that was likely because there is no one who would look as great in a pink boa as Nolan ;)They don't use as many props as you did. I found that lacking when they performed the King of Spain. However, The Last Saskatchewan Pirate made up for it and two-black-eye-patched Danny made it a 'fun' song to entertain the audience. They provided as much entertainment as you did when you were at the fair for that week. The audience enjoyed them as they did with you. If you would like to see some of the pictures from both, check out: groups.msn.com/HannahHeidiHopesHoppinHOJAHottiesHave a Happy Easter! Ele

During the interview Jaymie and I did, Danny wore one of those eyepatches from Pirate because he had lost a contact. It was quite funny because Pete was making fun of him for it. He was cleaning up the little booth, and it had occurred to me that he was wearing the eye patch, but at the time I had forgotten to ask about it. And then I helped him answer a question he was asked by some kid that came along. (regarding how they came up with the name HOJA)
